We've had so much fun doing our own take on March brackets! 🐾 Our first quarterly fundraiser for United Way of Central Indiana of the year got a whole lot cuter. Colleagues submitted their pets in hopes of them being crowned "G&A's Cutest Pet." Last week we had daily voting rounds until we ended up with a winner and runner up. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently issued a letter addressing the cybersecurity incident impacting Change Healthcare, a unit of UnitedHealth Group. Given the magnitude of the cyberattack, HHS' Office for Civil Rights (OCR) is investigating whether these entities comply with HIPAA Rules and whether a breach of PHI occurred. OCR is also encouraging HIPAA-covered entities (e.g., health plans, health insurance issuers and health care providers) and their business associates to review their cybersecurity measures “with urgency” to ensure that health information is protected.
